Buck Bad, I Got Paper

I don't know when it happened but I've become really excited for Groove Armada's new album 'Black Light.' I've never really been a 'fan' per se, but who doesn't love 'I See You Baby,' recently I can't get enough of their new music though. More specifically I've been playing new single 'Paper Romance' non stop, absolutely non stop. It's a gorgeous, synthy, monster of an anthem. Makes for great sountrack music when walking to classes... trust. The video is moody and worth checking out. Also the duo is offering a free download of 'Shameless,' another track off the upcoming 'Black Light.' I've included the download link after the jump.

Next Thing, We're Touching

I'm strangely convinced I was English in my former life due to my obsession with the music, the accent, and the fish 'n chips - but maybe I mean British. I dunno. The other day I googled what the difference between England and Britain was and ended up more confused then when I began. I was never very good with my Geography. Point. Ellie Goulding, one of my favorite 'English' singers has released a new video for 'Starry Eyed.' It's pretty grand. Check out the video after the jump which I'm sure will make plenty of dull days just a little better... and shinier. Her debut album finally comes out sometime this year and I'm sure it will be heavily featured on plenty of 'best of' lists in December.

Pants Off Dance Off

How incredibly embarrassing. I feel like I've been caught with my pants off... but not really. For the longest time I've been raving about a certain talent who's interesting music and stylish music videos have had me impatiently waiting for her debut album - which thankfully is due to drop this February. In fact this artist was featured in my end of the year list. Well, had I checked my email more often I'd have noticed a message from Team Diamond promoting the same video I featured in the previous post. Yes, I've been drawling on about Marina and the Diamonds. It's strangely funny, and pretty amazing, to get an email from the actual press team of an artist you really admire. And Let The Drums Roll

It's finally arrived - the list to end all lists for the Naughty Aughties. It's what began as my Most Slept on Artists of the Year list which incidentally evolved into a list of artists I've obsessed with for the past years that all share the fact that they just haven't seemed to get their fair crack at the mainstream, but are still making incredible and awesome music that you should most definitely do yourself the favor of checking out. Good lord that was a long sentence.

Till The King Of The Jungle Calls My Bluff

I'm absolutely loving the progression of Marina and the Diamonds. It seems every time I hear a new single from her it's better than the one before it, including the video. Her next single is "Mowgli's Road," it's a gorgeous track, more upbeat than her past singes, with a video that's just fabulously executed. Check it out below.

We Should Trust In This Love & Nature

I found out about this pretty awesome trio, Le Corps Mince de Françoise, over at EQ which described them, and the below video, as such, "...their new video to "Something Golden" which catapults them from quirky indie threesome to the status of "female version of MGMT". Yes, there, I said it." Couldn't agree more. I'm loving what I've just recently heard from them and "Something Golden" is definitely a new favorite. Enjoy below.

You & Me Could Write A Bad Romance

It's starting, the campaign towards "The Fame Monster," too dramatic? Not enough actually. The following is Le GaGa's new track, it's a monster of a track, embrace the pun, and is in fact a club-banger of a song. The final version sounds great, I'm really looking forward to the rest of the album.

Time Our Time Cause We're Taking It Slow

"It's Not Me, It's You" has been one of my favorite albums of this year, full of good beats and even better lyrics. This current single, "Who'd Have Known," is one of my favorite tracks off the album. The video is true Lily Allen, cheeky, clever, simple. Check it out below.

You Know I Got You

A new track off Leona Lewis' sophomore album "Echo" has leaked; it's called "I Got You" and is incredibly catchy. I was already excited for her album to drop, but this new single has me over the moon. Right now no one does power ballad quite like she does, not even with Whitney back. Check it out below.

Anything You Want Or Need

Timbaland is coming out with his followup album, entitled "Shock Value 2" and below is a track off of it. It features Shakira and Lil Wayne, yes a very organic collaboration. The track is actually really great, sounds like it'd be on her She Wolf actually. Check it out below.

Brandy's new track has leaked, it's called "I Don't Really Care," it's produced by Stargate. This go around she's flying solo and sounding beautiful. I like this track, maybe more than Good Night Good Morning, which ended up going to Alexandra Burke's new album. Check out the banger below and judge for yourself.

A Song For Tomorrow Morning

I love Ida Marie - since I saw her video in my college's cafeteria - yup the place where legends are born. Her music is so punchy and harsh yet lovable. Case in point her song "Oh My God" and the great video to it. Check it out below. If you don't love it, you are incapable of the act.

So nobody knows who this new group is - when I say nobody I mean nobody, except those who do of course. They're called Monarchy and this is there first single, "Gold in the Fire." It's beautiful and you can check it out below.

She's long been an artist to watch out for, but now that she's signed to Polydor, one of Britain's biggest music labels, she's most definitely one to watch for in two oh ten. I'm Missing You A Lot

I'm not sure what my obsession is with Swedish musicians (Robyn, Medina, Cornelia, Agnes, The Knife). Whether it's the music, the image, or the videos. Whatever it is I don't see my obsession fading away anytime soon and Erik Hassle is testament to that. He's a Swedish singer, what else, who's debut album "Hassle," which has already been released in his home country, will be released soon for the rest of the world through Island Records. It's pack full of fantastic, emotional tracks all topped off with his amazing voice. Check out the video for his first single "Hurtful" below and feast your eyes and ears.

Lady GaGa just officially announced that she will be releasing her re-release of "The Fame" entitled "The Fame Monster," but of course we all already new that.
